If you are in Córdoba between the 22nd of March and the 17th of March, it is likely that you will find some events with a Roman atmosphere. This is KALENDAS, a cultural cycle organized by the City Council of Cordoba and IMTUR. With this, it is intended to evoke the past of Corduba, the Roman capital of the province of Hispania Ulterior.
The name comes from the Latin term of kalendas, with which the Romans referred to the days of the month. Through this month, about 90 activities will be held where tourists and Cordovan will be able to enjoy these days of Classical History. Among them, we can find hiking trails or excursions to Monturque, Santa Cruz or El Guijo. Also, there will be different conferences dedicated to Roman History and the way of life that our Hispanic ancestors had. And for lovers of gastronomy, different tastings of Roman wine will be held.
Of course, the youngest will be able to enjoy these days, thus awakening their interest in History. Among other things, didactic workshops and dramatized visits will be held, one of them being dedicated to the way of life of Roman infants in the Iberian Peninsula.

These days will be complemented by the opening, for the first time to visitors, of the Roman temple of Claudio Marcelo Street, right next to the Town Hall, which will be held soon.
